Tailoring workwear
2024.03.02
Since last week, Instagram and blogs have also introduced new spring items, but there are many people who come to the store every day, so I am grateful that the movement is active. The cold is still pulling, but if you like clothes, your feelings are completely heading to spring, right? You guys like clothes too! We have expanded the Spring Monogatari Corner this week, so we are waiting for those who allow time.
This week is not a new work, but I would like to introduce a sale item that can be used in the spring that I wanted to introduce when the time comes.
Wes Turner coverall of MIDA.
Although it is a manufacturer that is still a young acquaintance, it is a brand that has gained recognition at the Oita store thanks to the active introduction of sales items.
MIDA is a manufacturing centering on basic military, but it is also a manufacturer that handles a traditional brand called DC WHITE, which focuses on tailoring. The item introduced this time is the name of MIDA, but it is a very interesting concept JKT centered around the American trad near DC WHITE. A sale item that we bought together at the time of purchasing winter sale items. It has been very popular with people who love clothes since the winter sale season, but since it is not a midwinter item, it is finally a season that can be introduced.
This is a single work JKT with no lining. Wes Turner, which is also the item name, is a standard G-jean from the 40s and 50s of the American denim brand Lee, which is based on the design.
Atsuji's satin fabric unique to Wes Turner, and the pocket shape is a curved pocket unique to Lee. The buttons are not cover-all changes or unnounced buttons, but iron G-jean design.
JKT is an interesting idea that made two-pocket G-jeans into four-pocket coveralls. And it's not denim, it's even more maniac and interesting with Satin's Lee's Wes Turner! I saw it for the first time in terms of matching with the material, and I never imagined it, but I'm going to be a fashion that wears a tailor-like coverall, which is also our style. In particular, Kinari can be used to coordinate with us.
Until now, I love Kinari's coveralls and have been doing a lot, but since the basic workwear Kinari has almost a cotton canvas or herringbone, the silhouette is not decided until the fabric feels crisp and grows, and the work feeling is strong There was a difficult point. But wes Turner satin is elastic and supple fabric. There is also a dull gloss characteristic of satin, so it can be used quite a bit for a beautiful style. In terms of the position of the brand, that was the point, and I thought of it from the fabric and arrived at the shape of the Wes Turner. That's an interesting idea that replica brands don't have.
The combination of G-Jan design to coverall is also interesting, but it is another structurally very interesting specification, and I came especially to this specification and became the decisive factor in buying it.
That's why we originally made workwear with a flat structure in a three-dimensional structure! You put darts (cutting the dough and connecting it again to make a curve) in the moving part of your body, and tailoring the coverall. Until now, I have encountered a coverall that has put the sleeves to the tailor and has a clean approach with the fabric, but this is the first coverall that has boldly tailored the structure so far, and rationality is a structure that is far from the workwear sold. I think this kind of approach is unique to Japan. I love this kind of thing.
The place where the darts are placed is the elbow that moves with the bending and stretch of the arm, and the darts are placed behind the shoulder that moves up and down the arm. The darts inside the elbow is a very rare structure.
We make fabric goats on both sides so that you can wrap your body with a plus three-dimensional form. This is an elaborate structure that cannot be seen in workwear.
Plus, this is an interesting specification! Although it is not something that you can feel very functionally, darts are also placed on both sides of the four pockets of the front. In fact, the pocket has an effect of increasing capacity, but more playful details. This is the detail that embodies the concept of JKT with plus.
In fact, when you pass through the sleeves, the comfort is obviously different. All the staff were surprised. The shape that feels reflected in the mirror is the usual coverall, but there is no rush that is common for coveralls when worn. Moreover, even if you wear a just size, you can wear it on an inner layer at all. By the way, it is thin on the parka in the photo, but it is worn on top of a down vest. Even if you wear it in M size with my body shape, you can wear it at all.
This is a comfort and comfort that I have never experienced with the coverall before. Ryuishi is a three-dimensional form centered on tailoring. I would like you to wear this item if you like layered clothes. It's completely different from replica coveralls!
Colors are Kinari and Brown. It is a color that exists in both of the actual West Turner. Kinari is definitely sure, and brown is a rare color for coveralls, and it seems to be a casual adult and casual look.
If you like clothes over 35 years old, this is a JKT that you should definitely try. Please try the sleeves by all means.

See you again. It looks cold next week, but I'm tired of wearing winter outerwear too. We will put out Gungan spring items every week, so let's be conscious of spring overlap!
