Continuing from last time, I would like to introduce the exhibition building materials of LOHAS studio Chofu PARCO store.♪


This time, I would like to introduce "Nikawa Artisan"!


◆What is a nikawa craftsman?
This adhesive is made of 100% natural material that does not use any chemical substances.
Nikawa is a representative adhesive that has been used since ancient times in Egypt and other countries, and the raw material is a component that comes out by boiling animal skin and bones. It is a collagen that is easy to understand.
As a preservative, hiba and wood vinegar are put in, so there is a little smell, but when dried, the smell is reduced.


◆What are the characteristics?
①Natural material 100%
→For those who are worried about families or chic houses with small children and pets
　Fully additive-free natural material 100% adhesive material
※When disposed of, it can be used as an aid for growing plants by dissolving it in water and giving it to plants.
②Good penetration and adhesion of adhesive surface
③Good strength after bonding

⑤Moderate viscosity with less sauce and easy to use
⑥It is easy to process after bonding, and it is difficult to damage machining machinery and tools.

Kawai craftsmen are adhesives for wood parts, but they are impregnable adhesives that soak into wood and bond.

Solid wood is attached because there is no thing that does not soak in the wood, but wood is not attached if a coating film such as sheet or urethane is formed.
In addition, solid wood is too hard, so-called hard-to-stain, and hard-to-stain, are difficult to stick.

Even a soft tree cannot be used if it is processed without soaking such as urethane coating.

Kawai craftsmen have the property of solidifying when cooled and peeling when heated, so it is also characterized by easy maintenance.

◆How do you use it? ？ (4th picture)
In cold weather, Nishikawa craftsmen solidify like gelatin and make it difficult to bond.
In that case, keep the cap closed and pour the tube into hot water.
※Since the quality is significantly reduced at a temperature of 60°C or more, the hot water of 50°C or less is used.

Since one side bonding is basic, apply it to one side of the material in an S-shaped shape.
Take some time until it is completely cured.
