After all, what is layering?
2024.12.08
Hello. This is the staff of Chofu Parco.
Recently, I've been introducing wear on my blog and Instagram, but what should I wear from my customers after all? I have a lot of questions. The type of wear has diversified, and the number of wear that is difficult to understand without explanation has increased. As we do, I think it's even better for our customers.
Therefore, in the future, I would like to introduce layering by situation with items at Chofu Parco store. Of course, this is not the right answer, but please refer to it and find the layering that suits you.
Today, as a pre-stage, we will explain the type of wear.
Underwear Example MILLET / DRYNAMIC MESH
There are various ways to call it first layer, dry wear, etc., but in a nutshell, it is underwear. Wear that absorbs sweat from the skin, keeps the skin dry, and prevents sweat cold.
Base layer example MILLET/WAFFLE WOOL CREW
T-shirts or zip-up type wear that can be worn over underwear. There are synthetic fiber materials that have excellent water absorption and quick drying properties, and wool materials that are less susceptible to sweat cooling. This absorbs water and dry the sweat that underwear absorbs. You must select the wear so that this combination works.
"The North Face" by Expedition Grid Fleece Full Zip Hoodie
Wear on top of base layer such as fleece and active insert. Depending on the situation, wear an outer layer on top of it. There are various types and materials, but what we have in common is wear that has heat retention and breathability and regulates body temperature. There are many types, so you can choose according to your needs.
Outer layer example MAMMUT/Ayako Pro 2.0 Hooded Jacket AF
The outermost wear such as rainwear, hard shell, wind shell, soft shell etc. It is a wear that protects your body from rain and wind. You can use it differently depending on the scene, from items made of waterproof moisture permeable materials, such as Goretex, to thin wear.
MAMMUT / Gravity in Hooded Jacket AF
This is a so-called heat insulating wear, such as down and synthetic cotton. The down is light and can be stored compactly. The synthetic fiber cotton model is resistant to wet and has advantages, such as it is difficult to heat retention.
Trekking Pants: The North Face by Alpine Light Pants
You can choose by thickness and silhouette. It is recommended for medium-thick items with high versatility. It is water-repellent, and it doesn't matter if it rains a little.
The above is rough, but it will be classified by type. Strictly it will be a little more detailed, but I think it will be such a classification according to the usage scene. In the future, we will introduce examples little by little, so please take a look.
We have a wide variety of clothes at our shop. If you have any concerns, the staff will guide you. Please come and feel free to contact us.
