Recommended for the first snow mountain Mount Nyukasa
2025.01.29
Hello. This is the staff of Chofu Parco.
Cold days continue, and heavy snow is falling on the Sea of Japan side. This year, there is more snow than last year, so you can enjoy climbing snowy mountains.
I guess some people are going to start climbing snowy mountains in the future, but some people do not know where to climb from? This time, for such people, this is the introduction of the mountain recommended for the first time climbing snowy mountains.
▪️ Mount Nyukasa
Mount Nyukasa is a mountain located in Nagano at an altitude of 1,955m and is located in the northernmost part of the Southern Japanese Alps. However, it is not included in Minami Alps National Park.
There is a gondola from Fujimi Panorama Resort to the vicinity of the summit, and the distance and height difference are not so far, it is a mountain that is relatively easy to climb. You can enjoy a 360° panorama from the summit, and you can see the Southern Japanese Alps, the Central Alps, the Yatsugatake and the Northern Japanese Alps in the distance.
In addition, there is a mountain hut on the way, and accommodation is possible. Among them, Hutte Irigasa is a mountain hut with a reputation for cooking. (The famous beef stew offering ended last year.)
I went to climb in 2023, but there is no hard place to reach the summit and the view of the summit is wonderful, so it is a mountain I would like to recommend. There is a free shuttle bus from Fujimi Station, and access is good. Please take the first step in climbing snowy mountains.
Our shop has gears necessary for climbing snowy mountains. We also have experienced staff in climbing snowy mountains. In addition, koujitusannsou Mountaineering School also offers snow mountain courses, from desk courses to outdoor courses. If you have any questions, we will explain and guide you. Please come and consult us about anything.
